Liu Ren is one of China’s rising art stars. Liu has already staged several exhibitions of her elaborate composite photography work both in China and internationally. In these carefully constructed works the artist herself often acts as an innocent bystander witnessing the phantasmagoria of China’s rapid social transformation.
